Park Youth FC was founded in 1995 and now has three teams of various age groups.
Our younger teams have always played their matches off West Hill Road, Luton.
When first founded, we had larger pitches on the park too. We now have one
mini pitch and the use of the pavillion.
Our
U15 team plays on Sunday at Barnfield South Academy. We also have teams playing
in various leagues which we are affiliated to, including Chiltern Junior 7's,
Chiltern Youth League and Filmergraphics League.
Each team has a qualified coach working with the children and the younger
teams both boys and girls play.
All management and coaches are currently crb checked, and we have a Club Welfare
officer. We are working towards becoming a Charter Standard Club, and are
considering the idea of starting a nursery.
Our current U15 team were champions of Under 9 Division 2, 2005, and champions
of Under 12 Division 4, 2008, in summer of 2009 they won the Sandy Tournament.
Our current U10 team play on Sunday in the Filmergraphics League. Whilst our
U11 team play in the Chiltern Junior 7's on Saturday
We are always
looking to recruit new coaches and managers to start new teams, in the hope
that we can expand our club in the right direction.
We are
looking to run a girls team, when the current U10 mixed team moves up to
the U11. Girls and Boys then need to play in seperate teams. So, if you
are a girl in year 5 who may be looking to join a team - please contact
us.
